A Wee Problem
In March of 1995, San Diego resident Robert Glasser sued the city and Jack Murphy Stadium for $5.4 million. While attending a Billy Joel and Elton John concert at the stadium, nature called. When he arrived at the bathroom, he discovered the stadium's unisex bathroom policy. He approached the urinals, and noticed a woman using one.
After visiting several of the stadium's other bathrooms, he discovered women in all of them. He claims the emotional distress prohibited him from being able to "go", and was forced to hold it in for four hours because he was too emarrassed to share the public bathrooms with women.
He lost his lawsuit.
